About Me

Ever since picking up my grandfather’s old Nikon at the early age of 14, I’ve had an interest in photography. It wasn’t until my college days that I became serious about making photography a career. I am a self-taught adventure, lifestyle, fly fishing and underwater photographer. My passion for the great outdoors, travel, sports, and most of all fly fishing has allowed me to shoot some truly incredible things. In addition to working many summers as a fly fishing guide in Alaska, I have photographed incredible places such as: Seychelles, Mexico, Los Roques, and many locations across the U.S.

While I love capturing action above water, I will never miss an opportunity to load the housing up and take my camera for a swim. Underwater photography is an obsession that started for me during my days as a guide in Alaska. The beautiful, clear Alaskan rivers were a perfect training ground to polish the challenging craft. Images of mine have appeared in many pubications and marketing campaigns with companies including Patagonia, The Fly Fish Journal, Aquatech and more.

When not shooting photography, my time is spent as the web manager for Tailwaters Fly Fishing in Dallas, where email, print, and web design is a daily task.
